Drs. Lanter, Vogel and Johnson are leading the KU-Ireland Summer Program. So far they've visited Belfast, Dublin, Cork and are now in Killarney. Pictured are 21 Golden Bears near an ancient church in Aghadoe overlooking Lough Leane. Joe Jardine, graduate student pole vaulter of the Kutztown University men's track and field program, brought home another illustrious award to his locker as he was named one of just five male student-athletes as a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Spring Top 10 Award winner, announced by the league office Thursday, June 6. Jardine gives KU its first male Top 10 award winner in 10 years, since Brandon Martinez of the baseball team received recognition in spring of 2014. He is the seventh track and field recipient and just the 16th Golden Bear male to earn Top 10 status since the awards were initiated during the 1997-98 academic year.
