Intern Experience at Red Creek Wildlife Center

Red Creek Wildlife Center recently featured one of its summer interns, Kutztown University student Sarah Grace. Grace is an environmental science dual major in biology and marine science. When asked about her future dreams and goals, Grace said, “I expect to venture through a few different areas of the environmental field once I graduate, but I would love to work as a field biologist with foci in population ecology and wildlife conservation. The most significant skill I’ve learned in my time at Red Creek so far is how to nebulize animals with respiratory ailments. I’m also grateful for the opportunities to advance my raptor handling skills.” Grace began volunteering at Red Creek in 2021. She also works at the Hawk Mountain Sanctuary.
