AIMS Program Feeds Homeless in Philadelphia
Kutztown University’s Achievement Initiative of Male Success (AIMS) program took to Philadelphia’s Love Park Saturday, July 20, to feed 100 unhoused individuals. Under program coordinator Bilal Salaam, family, chairs and co-chairs of the AIMS program (Laquan Drago, Taj Davis, Shavon Smith, Isiah Fernandez, Dominik Perez Fernandez and Deshond Freeman) prepared lunches consisting of a sandwich, chips, cookies, hand-sanitizing wipes and water. "The experience was very humbling, seeing the polarizing nature of those with so much and those with very little all in the same park,” said Drago. “It made me feel blessed to be able to help those in need, yet humbling to know there’s more we need to do,” said Davis. "One guy said this was his first meal in two days. He’s facing a much harder struggle than I could have imagined,” said Fernandez.

Facilities Work Order System
The Facilities Work Order System will be undergoing a significant change as part of a necessary update. The existing system, TMA, will be converted to WebTMA. This conversion is scheduled to begin early Monday, July 29, and continue through Tuesday, July 30. During the conversion period, the link on the Faculty/Staff webpage will not function. Any emergency or urgent requests will need to be called into the Work Control Center at ext. 31594. All other requests will need to be held until the conversion is completed. Once the conversion is completed, a new link will be installed on the Faculty/Staff webpage that will take users through Single Sign-On and then to an all-new Service Request Form. If you have the existing work order system link saved as a favorite, or if it is referenced on your department's website, the link will need to be updated after the transition is complete. If you have any questions, please reach out to our Work Control Center.
