Spirit Fridays

Fridays at KU are Spirit Fridays. All faculty, staff, students and the community are encouraged to wear maroon and gold and/or Kutztown University apparel on Fridays throughout the year. Secondary Advisor Needed - Black Flame Dance Team

The Black Flame Dance Team is searching for a faculty or staff member to serve as the club's secondary advisor. Responsibilities of the advisor include attending club meetings and events when possible, assisting the club in the organization and planning of projects, providing first approval for club financial transactions and ensuring compliance with University and Recreational Services policies, procedures and processes. If you are interested in advising the club or have any questions regarding the position, please contact Matt Barrett, Coordinator of Structured Sports, at barrett@kutztown.edu.

As you hear from December 2024 graduates with great news about landing a professional role and/or acceptance into graduate school, please forward that information to the Career Development Center (careerhelp@kutztown.edu). We will then add this information to the centralized First-Destination Career Outcomes Survey (please include student’s full name). This information is reported annually, in the aggregate, to academic departments and deans.

UGRC Student Workshop Series

Undergraduate Research and Creativity (UGRC) is asking for the campus community's help in spreading the word about our 2025 Student Workshop Series. The workshops are leveled so that they can appeal to new student researchers as well as those who have more experience with the process. Please let your students know about this opportunity and encourage them to attend. Incentives include bring-a-friend prizes and badges suitable for adding to LinkedIn profiles. The first session is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 13, and features the Career Development Center's Kerri Gardi: "The Current & Future Benefits of Doing Research While in College." Other speakers include Jennifer Schlegel, Megan O'Byrne, Lynn M. Kutch, Amy Pfeiler-Wunder and a student panel. Workshops will be held at 11 a.m. Thursdays throughout the semester in 287 Old Main.
