KUR Student Treasurer Wins Best Business Director

Kutztown University Radio (KUR) once again did not fail to impress at the 86th Annual Intercollegiate Broadcasting System (IBS) Awards in New York City this March. KUR took home gold in one category and runner-up in five other categories. KUR student treasurer, Devon Koch, won “Best Business Director (Radio)” in the country.

End of Carry-Over Leave Period

A reminder that the leave carry-over period ends after Friday, April 18. Any unused personal or excess annual leave carried over from the 2024 leave year must be used by April 18. Personal carry-over leave not used by April 18 will expire ("use it or lose it"). Excess annual time not used by April 18 will be converted to sick leave, up to the maximum allowed by the respective bargaining agreement. Please have all requests for carry-over leave submitted and approved through ESS as soon as possible.

Summer Hours

Summer hours will begin Monday, May 19 and remain in effect through Friday, August 15, a week before the start of classes. Summer hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a half-hour lunch. Anyone who has a need to maintain the normal academic year hours may submit a request through their supervisory line. Approval for such a request will be at the vice-presidential level and shall be communicated to Human Resources.

Public Oral Dissertation Presentation: Patricia F. Mejabi

The College of Education is pleased to announce Patricia Mejabi will proudly defend her dissertation, "Persistence, Mentorship, and Educational Achievement: Exploring the DACA Student Experience," at 9:30 a.m. Friday, March 21, 245 Beekey. The dissertation chair is Dr. Andrew Miness and the committee members are Dr. Kathleen Stanfa and Dr. Danelle Bower.
