Neurodiversity Book Group: Spring 2025 Selection

Faculty and staff are invited to take part in the next read for the Neurodiversity Book Group, an initiative sponsored by Kutztown University’s Title III grant. Our Spring 2025 book is “We’re Not Broken: Changing the Autism Conversation,” by Eric Garcia. If you are interested in joining the book group, please register via this form. A copy of the book will be provided to you. Upon receipt of the book, all participants commit to attending the discussion sessions and contributing to the dialogue. Discussion sessions will be held during the free hour (11 a.m. Tuesdays/Thursdays) and/or during the lunch hour (noon). For inquiries regarding the group’s activities or expectations, please contact Karen Rauch via Garcia will be on campus Thursday, April 10, 2025, for an exciting culmination to our semester-long discussion of his work. Holiday Boxes for Friend Inc.

Sixty-one holiday boxes were delivered to Friend Inc. Tuesday, Nov. 19, for local families in need this Thanksgiving season. Thank you to our Golden Bear community for your donations. December holiday boxes are due to the Community Outreach Center by noon Thursday, Dec. 12. Our goal for the December collection is 100 boxes. If you're interested in donating a box, please do. Clements Named PSAC East Coach of the Year, Retter Tabbed Defensive Athlete of the Year to Lead All-PSAC Selections

Jim Clements was voted the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference's East Division Coach of the Year and Freddie Retter earned East Defensive Athlete of the Year recognition to lead the PSAC champion Kutztown football team on All-PSAC teams, as voted on by the league's head coaches and announced Wednesday, Nov. 20. KU tied a program record with 15 All-PSAC selections.
