Congratulations to Dr. Kunal Das for receiving a new National Science Foundation grant. The grant award is for a three-year grant for $180,000 for his research on Quantum Correlations and Dynamics of Ring Sensors and Simulators. This research will continue and substantially expand ongoing efforts on developing ultracold atoms in ring-shaped configurations as a competitive alternate platform, for high precision sensors and for simulating a broad range of quantum mechanical phenomena.
