KU Students in Washington, D.C.

Kutztown University has the largest student group attending The Washington Center’s (TWC) Academic Seminar on National Security this May. Twenty-nine students were awarded fully funded scholarships, by the commonwealth of Pennsylvania and TWC, to spend a week in Washington, D.C. with college students from across the country. They’ll dive into national security challenges facing the world today, interacting with experts and public national security experts.  The students are accompanied by faculty leaders Marco Ehrl and Thiep Pham. Also, this summer, seven KU students will be at The Washington Center for their 10-week internship program. This is the highest number of KU students to date for a session.
