Secretary Siger Delivers Keynote Address, Cuts Ribbon at New SBDC Suite at PASBDC's Consultant Symposium
Secretary Rick Siger, Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, was the distinguished Keynote Presenter at the Pennsylvania Small Business Development Center's (PASBDC) Consultant Symposium Opening Breakfast Tuesday, Oct. 10. Siger shared a renewed focus on the creation, growth and sustainability of small businesses in Pennsylvania. He also assisted in the ribbon cutting of the SBDC’s new suite in the de Francesco Building. The Consultant Symposium is an opportunity for Pennsylvania SBDC's statewide network of 15 centers to come to together for professional development and networking.

On-Campus Internship and Job Fair
Staff and faculty, please remind your students that the on-campus KU Internship and Job Fair is noon to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18, 218 McFarland Student Union. There will be more than 65 employers attending. Students need to come professionally dressed with copies of their resumes. Students can view the employers coming to the fair on their Handshake account and make an appointment for the Career Closet for professional clothing. Pink Celebration
The Residence Hall Association (RHA) cordially invites you to the upcoming Pink Celebration for Breast Cancer Awareness Day on Friday, Oct. 13. As we aim to create a cohesive and lively atmosphere, we kindly request faculty, staff and students wear pink attire for the day. We believe this collective gesture will enhance awareness of Breast Cancer and contribute to a festive and a memorable experience for all. Whether it be a pink dress, shirt, tie or accessories, we encourage you to incorporate this color into your outfit and help us create a vibrant celebration.
