University Relations
The Washington Center
Nine KU students are attending the "Inside Washington Academic Seminar" at The Washington Center (TWC). Students were awarded fully funded scholarships by the commonwealth of Pennsylvania and TWC to spend a week in Washington, D.C., where college students from across the country discuss hot-button issues in policy, media, business and politics. Please continue promoting TWC’s internship program to students. The Pennsylvania State Scholarship continues to remain at its highest level, thanks to a $11,000 discount. This summer, our Pennsylvania students would pay only $1,310 for their 10-week internship program, including housing. A virtual student information session will be held 3-4 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31 by the Career Development Center.
