KU Students Learning in Washington, D.C. This Week

Eighteen KU students were in the nation's capital participating in a week-long academic seminar with hundreds of students from the across the country through The Washington Center (TWC). Students were led by Dr. Marco Ehrl, Communication Studies, and this year's topic was "The Presidential Inauguration." The students, from various KU majors, learned about hot-button issues in policy, media, business and politics in a bipartisan environment.
