Former VP Honored for KU PROFS Program, Support of Students from Foster Care

Kutztown University hosted ChildPromise’s “Brighter Tomorrows” celebration Wednesday, Oct. 4, in support of the university’s Providing Resources and Opportunities for Future Standouts (PROFS) program, which provides one-of-a-kind support to students who are current or former members of the foster care system. Among the honorees included Dr. Warren Hilton, president of Onondaga Community College and former vice president of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs at Kutztown University, who was bestowed with the Estelle B. Richman Leadership Award.

Veterans Awareness Week

Kutztown University celebrates National Veterans Awareness Week, November 6-12, to recognize, celebrate and honor our military and veteran community and their families. Join Military and Veterans Services, Student Veterans Association and Army R.O.T.C. Steel Battalion for a weeklong celebration of the contributions and sacrifices of our military members and veterans. All events are free however, some require registration. Workshop: Designing AI Resistant Assignments

Join us 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, 22 Rohrbach Library (location change) to discuss concrete strategies for revising assignments to increase student as opposed to AI engagement. Bring a writing assignment that you’d like to reconfigure. Feel free to grab a coffee with us or join us via Zoom.
