Faculty of First-Year Students: One-Day Workshop
Do you engage with first-year students in your courses? Are you interested in finding learner-centered ways to increase student engagement and empowerment so they can be their most successful? Join us 9 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, 223 MSU, at a one-day workshop provided by On Course that will provide tools and strategies to implement immediately into your teaching and curriculum. Colleges and universities using the On Course text are significantly improving retention of their first-year students; Kutztown is excited to bring this opportunity to our campus to support our faculty and students. Please make sure to RSVP by Friday, July 12 to allow enough time to order the training workbook. Have questions or concerns? Contact Brandy Leininger at leininger@kutztown.edu or Tony Bleach at bleach@kutztown.edu. Lunch will be served.
