Graham, Stutz Earn All-PSAC in Women's Golf

Freshmen Brooke Graham and Rhi Stutz completed a successful first season on the Kutztown University women's golf team by earning All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference status, as voted on by the head coaches and released by the conference office Wednesday, May 29. Graham was voted to the First Team, while Stutz was named Second Team. The two All-PSAC selections are the most for the Golden Bears since 2018.

Athletics

Five from KU Softball Tabbed Academic All-District

Kutztown University softball student-athletes Naya Darnowski, Haley Gravish, Alexa Stevens, Morgan Slomkowski and Kristin Geesey were all named to the 2024 College Sports Communicators Division II Academic All-District Softball Team, an award that recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performance on the field and in the classroom. The five Golden Bears are the most Academic All-District honorees in a single season in program history.

Conteh, Spector Selected to Participate in Senior All-Star game, Nicholson to Coach

Cyrose Conteh and Robin Spector of Kutztown University women's lacrosse have been selected to play in the 2024 Senior All-Star game 12:30 p.m. Saturday, June 1, Tierney Field in Sparks, Md. Golden Bears head coach Kristen Nicholson will coach the South All-Stars, which Spector is on. Conteh will be playing on the North All-Star team. The Division II All-Star game will follow the DI game, which is at 10 a.m., and is before the DIII game at 3 p.m.
