Rauch Named Associate Vice President for Accreditation, Assessment and Curriculum
Dr. Karen L. Rauch has been named Kutztown University’s associate vice president for accreditation, assessment and curriculum, effective immediately. Rauch has been with the university since 2001, including the last four years as associate provost.

Juneteenth
Juneteenth is a United States federal holiday, celebrated annually on June 19. It commemorates the final end of slavery in the U.S. on June 19, 1865, when Union Army general Gordon Granger proclaimed freedom for slaves in Galveston, Texas, the last state of the Confederacy with institutional slavery. Kutztown University will close Monday, June 19 to observe the holiday. If interested in attending some local events to celebrate Juneteenth: Reading - June 10. Allentown - June 17.
