New Officers Begin Terms for KU Council of Trustees
The Kutztown University Council of Trustees has new officers serving in leadership roles for the next two years, as approved at its June meeting. Dennis A. Giorno ’94 will serve as chair (middle); Kevin Harden Jr. ’07, Esq., will serve as vice chair (left); and Phillips Armstrong ’71 will serve as secretary (right).

Jennifer Tanzos Retirement
Sadly, Monday, July 8 will be Jennifer Tanzos’ last day. She will be retiring from KU after 21 years. The library team has been fortunate to have Jen working with us in the Rohrbach Library as the Administrative Assistant for the past eight years. Previously, she was in the Student Union for 13 years. The library team would like to thank Jen for her dedication and support to the students, staff and faculty. She will be truly missed.

Pest Control Service - Contractor Change
Effective Monday, July 1, we will have a new contracted vendor in place for pest control services. Tomlinson Bomberger will replace Home Paramount as our pest control contractor on campus. Routine service requests submitted for pest control will be handled in the mornings on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month. This is a change from past services, which were handled on Fridays. The first service date with the new contractor will be Wednesday, July 10.

Lunch at the Folk Festival
KU faculty and staff are invited to have lunch at the Folk Festival, July 1-5. You will receive free entry to the festival with your KU ID or business card weekdays between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. The festival offers a variety of Pennsylvania Dutch foods, homemade soups and sandwiches plus festival favorites including sausage, potpie, corn fritters, funnel cake, shoo-fly pie and apple dumplings.
