Thank You from the KU Foundation

Thank you for coming together to support another record-breaking 1866 Minute Giving Challenge! In just 1,866 minutes, the KU community raised more than $525,000 to support academics, athletics, capital projects and student clubs and organizations – and gifts are still being counted! We hope to see you all at Homecoming this weekend to celebrate this monumental achievement! The Challenge will remain open through Sunday, so there’s still time to give to what you love at KU.

KU Printmaking Alumni Exhibition at Frontline Arts

More than 40 original pieces of art from the KU Alumni Printmaking Collection will be exhibited Friday, Oct. 25 through Friday, Dec. 13, at Frontline Arts, Branchburg, N.J., with an opening reception 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26. This is only a small portion of the collection amassed under Evan Summer during his time teaching Printmaking at KU from 1987-2019. Students Madison Jackson, Joy Gonzalez and Julie Sweeney worked in the Miller Gallery archives to photograph, catalog and archivally mat and present each artwork. This project was supported by Strategic Initiative Funds, Bierman Mentorship Grants through the Foundation and art history and art education internships. Notable artists include Victoria Beck, Jeffrey Brady, Ryan Brunetti, Elaine Cunfer, Andrew Kish III, Brad Kunkle, Zachary Lindenberger, James Maria, Kurt Moyer, Devon Stackonis and many more. The online catalog with images and alumni information can be accessed online. Image credit: Kurt Moyer.
