PASSHE DEI Connectivity Webinar

Join colleagues from across the State System for the next "Connectivity Live." These sessions are meant to keep the dialogue and learning going between the PASSHE Diversity Summits and are brought to you by the PASSHE DEI Office. The next session is presented by one of KU's own. "Inclusive Language," facilitated by Amanda Slichter, assistant director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Marketing and Special Interest Housing at Kutztown University, noon to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 30, via Zoom. Language isn't the golden key to creating inclusive environments, but it's a helpful signal to our students, colleagues and other fellow humans to communicate that their identities are seen, respected and valued. In this session, attendees will learn specific examples of more inclusive word choices, general tips surrounding identity-based language and create a plan for ongoing learning around this topic. Learn more about the session and register by clicking here.
