Thank you to those who attended this year's Christmas on the Farm, hosted by the Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center.
Don’t forget to visit our new exhibition, Mountain Mary, Contemporary Visions of the Sainted Healer, celebrating the life and legend of Berks County healer, Anna Maria Young (1744-1819) of the Oley Hills. The exhibition is located nearby on campus, in the new DeLight E. Breidegam Building, Headquarters of the Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center, 15155 Kutztown Road.

Pennsylvania SBDC Announce New Advisory Board Members

The Pennsylvania Small Business Development Centers (SBDC), leaders in providing consulting and training to small businesses and supporting business start-ups and existing business expansion, announce the addition of two new members to their advisory board. The new members of the advisory board are Richard "Rick" Turner, MBA and Joseph "Joe" Wilson. Turner and Wilson both have long, tenured individual careers and relationships with the Pennsylvania SBDC. Turner, a business owner, operates as the president and CEO of Legacy Cigar Lounge, LLC. Turner will be opening Legacy Cigar Lounge, LLC in West Reading, in 2023. He brings broad experience as an executive leader in numerous roles, including sales, marketing, manufacturing and management positions. Joe Wilson, relationship manager and minority business development VP at PNC Bank, focus is strengthening community resources that will enable financial wellness for small businesses within diverse communities.

Holiday Food Box Deadline Update

Winter holiday food boxes will be due 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 12. The Office of Student Involvement, 153 MSU, is open for deliveries from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Email blichar@kutztown.edu to pre-arrange to have your box picked up by our staff on Mondays at 2 p.m. (except Dec. 12) and Thursdays at 11 a.m. Details of what is needed can be found on GivePulse. Please feel free to decorate the box and/or add the name of the organization that prepared it. All families will receive a turkey in addition to the box.
