renovation of the DeFrancesco Building

President Hawkinson and Council of Trustees Tour DeFrancesco Renovation

President Hawkinson, his cabinet and KU’s Council of Trustees toured the renovation of the DeFrancesco Building Thursday, Nov. 3. DeFrancesco houses the university’s accredited College of Business and will soon incorporate the entrepreneurial-focused Small Business Development Center. The renovation is scheduled to be completed in May and will welcome students and faculty for the 2023 Fall semester.

Women's Basketball 50th Anniversary Celebration Rescheduled for 2023

The Kutztown University women's basketball 50-year anniversary celebration, postponed last winter, has been rescheduled for Saturday, Feb. 18, 2023. Registration is open for the event, where the program's Golden Anniversary Team will be honored. That team includes a new member with the addition of recent alumna and KU all-time leading scorer, Rylee Derr. The Golden Bears will host Mansfield 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18. Following the game, a celebratory reception will be held in the Student Recreation Center that includes recognition of the KU Women's Basketball Golden Anniversary Team, alumna speakers and more.
