Students Visit State Capitol and PA State Rep

Last week during Legislative Session at the state Capitol, Pennsylvania State Representative Jamie Barton welcomed two KU students, who displayed their undergraduate research posters, informing the public on the important issue of domestic violence. Samantha Smith's research communicated the intergenerational cycles of domestic violence. Patrick Perrin's project explained long-term map maintenance using mobile robots.

Weather

Weather forecasts are provided by KU's Dr. Michael Davis and "Monsoon Mike" Regensburger

The low pressure, which is bringing parts of upstate New York and New England snow, misses our area and brings a lot of wind and some snow showers. Either could create slippery travel spots. Not a major issue but it is always good to exercise caution. High around 37 with winds gusting from the northwest at or better than 40 mph.
