Winter Holiday Food Box Drive

The Community Outreach Center is once again hosting the Winter Holiday Food Box Drive. Collection has begun with a firm due date of 4:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 12. The Office of Student Involvement, 153 MSU, is open for deliveries from 8 a.m. to 4:40 p.m. Email blichar@kutztown.edu to pre-arrange to have your box picked up by our staff on Mondays at 2 p.m. and Thursdays at 11 a.m. Details of what is needed can be found on GivePulse. Please feel free to decorate the box and/or add the name of the organization that prepared it. All families will receive a turkey in addition to the box.

Honors Program Director Sought

The Provost invites faculty to apply for the director, Honors Program. This position is seventy-five percent reassigned time per semester. Evening and weekend hours may be necessary. This position also includes an expectation of a summer obligation with associated contract. The successful candidate must have a strong interest in and experience working with Honors students, a willingness to publicize and represent the Honors Program within the university as well as at the regional, state and national levels; and a desire to create an institutional culture for the Honors Program that celebrates and encourages intellectual curiosity and achievement. In addition, the successful candidate will have demonstrated ongoing scholarly and research activity. Lunch and Learn: Creating CV/Resume Workshop

The Enrollment Management Student Affairs (EMSA) Professional Development Committee is proud to present the next workshop in our series of "Lunch and Learns" open to all faculty and staff. In this resume workshop, the Career Development Center will explain different types of resumes with specific examples. They will also discuss how to include the most important elements that highlight a job candidate’s qualifications and accomplishments. The presentation will take place 11 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Nov. 29, 250 McFarland Student Union. Light refreshments will also be provided. Please use this link to sign up. Commission on Human Diversity Call for Proposals

The Commission on Human Diversity’s 13th annual conference which will be held 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 3, 2023, in MSU.  Our conference theme this year, "Contemporary Issues in Human Diversity and Social Justice" promotes the commission's mission to educate in all areas of diversity.  We are accepting proposals based on contemporary topics: disability studies, critical race theory, neurodiversity, intersectionality, religion and sexuality. We also welcome proposals related to the various dimensions of multiculturalism, diversity, social justice, inclusion and equity in all areas of life and education.  The initial proposal deadline is Wednesday, Dec. 7, with the possibility of acceptance until Jan 11, 2023.  Please use this link to submit a proposal: https://forms.office.com/r/TJw8gPEyKi.  Feel free to share this link with others – we welcome proposals from staff, faculty, students and off-campus stakeholders.
