May Commencement Faculty RSVP

All faculty are invited to join in the celebration of students' achievements by participating in the May commencement ceremonies. A ceremony for graduates will take place 5 p.m. Friday, May 12, followed by two ceremonies for undergraduates Saturday, May 13. All ceremonies will take place in the O'Pake Fieldhouse. Your role in this event is significant to our students. The deadline to rent regalia (required for participation) is March 24. Click here for RSVP link.

Chambliss Faculty Research Lecture Featuring Dr. Yongjae Kim

Dr. Yongjae Kim, Department of Sport Management, will present the Chambliss Faculty Research Award lecture 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, 145 Boehm. Kim’s lecture is titled "From Gaming to Gaining: The Impact of Repetitive Sport Video Gaming on Sport Attitudes and Behavior." Light refreshments will be available. If you are unable to join us in person, the lecture will be recorded and posted to YouTube after the event.

Collegiate Recovery Hosts AA Meeting

Collegiate Recovery is hosting an open AA meeting with breakfast 9-10 a.m. Saturday, March 25, followed by a Collegiate Recovery social 10 a.m. to noon. Collegiate Recovery meetings are held 7-8 p.m. Thursdays, the Health Center, when school is in session. Collegiate Recovery provides supportive recovery advocacy for those who seek to be substance-free, have a substance use disorder, have experiences with others who use substances and are sober and curious.
